It is better to have as much knowledge as possible. However, it is also not recommended to fill your brain with all kind of information that you will seldom use. For example, why would I memorize the spelling of psychiatry when I know that my MS Word will automatically correct it? Or why will I memorize that there are 10^11 stars in the sky at any given point of time. I don’t need to know that!

Similarly, it depends on your objectives whether you need real estate training. If you want to make the real estate your profession then yes, you need extensive training. You also need to keep yourself updated on the new rules and regulations as well as the rates and taxes.

But if you are using the real estate for investment purpose only, it is not at all necessary to stress your brain with all the different calculations that these real estate agents can do easily. For your immediate uses, you can avail the services of these real estate agents. However, it is better to have some basic knowledge of how these things operate so that you are not duped.
